So I got fired yesterday.
Made redundant.
Laid off.

Damn.

Pretty much out of the blue so it took a while to sink in.
Still, as everyone keeps saying, "these things happen for a reason" or "chin up" or well, you didn't like it anyway, did you?"
Do people really think they are helping when they say that?

Anyway, so basically I now no longer have a reason to get up at 6:30am on Mondays. And that is a good thing!
And it means I can get back to posting some artwork here on dA!

For those who have been missing my submissions here lately (yes, both of you!) be assured that I have not abandoned illustration, I have in fact been working on private commissions and more importantly a secret project.
I am sworn to secrecy right now, but as soon as I'm let off the leash I will be posting teasers here for all to see!

So I hope this finds all of you in the best of health and let this be a lesson - never take anything for granted. You never know when the rug will be pulled out from under you!
